Creativity is more than just being different.
Making the simple, awesomely simple,
that’s creativity.”Charles Mingus

About Gauthier Aubé

Self-taught, Gauthier is known for his technique, his precision and musicality. He has performed on numerous European stages.
From Barcelona to Budapest, London to Moscow, his inimitable style attracts audiences of all ages and backgrounds.
Drawing inspiration from jazz and world music, Gauthier balances an impressive technique with an emotional force, inviting listeners on an acoustic journey.

On stage there are no machines, no sound effects or manipulation, just a solo didgeridoo. However, appearances can be deceptive and at times it seems as if you are listening to an entire orchestra, with so many sounds intersecting, blending and colliding.

It’s time to re-discover this ancient instrument whose sound has never been so fresh !
