About Gauthier Aubé

Gauthier Aubé is recognized as one of the most influential players of his generation. As a fact, he even created a didgeridoo style : the French Style !

Self-taught didgeridoo player, Gauthier Aubé is considered one of the most influential players of his generation. Known for his technique, his precision of play and his musicality, he has performed on numerous European stages.

From Barcelona to Budapest, London to Moscow, his inimitable style attracts an audience of all ages and backgrounds.

Drawing inspiration from jazz and world music, Gauthier strikes the right balance between an impressive technique and an emotional force, inviting listeners on an acoustic journey.

On stage there are no machines, no sound effects or manipulation, just a solo didgeridoo. However, appearances can be deceptive and at times it will seem as if you are listening to an entire orchestra, as so many sounds intersect, blend and collide.

It’s time to re-discover this ancient instrument whose sound has never been so current !
